Payment Policy

How payment works when you order with Rug Lane.

Rug Lane is operated by Rug Lane Pty Ltd (ABN 25 700 874 200). This policy explains how payments work when you order from us.

Accepted payment methods

All available payment methods are shown at checkout. We currently accept:

Cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express
Digital wallets: Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, where supported by your device and browser
Buy now, pay later: any instalment options we offer appear at checkout

If a payment method isn't shown at checkout, it isn't currently available.

Currency

All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). We do not currently offer any other currency.

Prices, GST and tax invoices

All prices shown on our website include GST where applicable.
Your full total is displayed at checkout before you confirm. Standard shipping is free Australia-wide, so no delivery charge is added.
Need a tax invoice? Email sales@ruglane.com.au with your order number and we'll send one through.

Payment security

Every page, including your cart and checkout, is served securely over HTTPS.
Payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways, and card data is encrypted in transit.
We never see or store your full card details on our own servers.

Order confirmation

Once your payment is approved, you'll receive an automated confirmation email with your order number, a summary of your items, the total charged and your delivery details. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then get in touch.

Pricing errors

We take care to price everything correctly. In the rare event a rug is listed at the wrong price due to a technical or human error, we'll contact you before dispatch so you can choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the price you agreed to at checkout.

Payment troubleshooting

Declined payment: double-check your card number, expiry date and security code. If it keeps happening, contact your bank or try another method.
Processing time: card and wallet payments are processed instantly. Any buy-now-pay-later approvals are subject to that provider's own checks and terms.
Buy-now-pay-later refunds: these are returned through the provider, who then adjusts your payment schedule.
Unexpected or unauthorised charges: email sales@ruglane.com.au straight away with your order number.
